The Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) held its 2009 Restaurant Awards Gala, also know as the RAMMYs, to honor top restaurateurs, chefs and service industry employees June 7 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel.

In this town, it didn't really happen if there wasn't a gala to celebrate it. Sunday night, the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) held its 2009 Restaurant Awards Gala at the opulent Omni Shoreham Hotel in Woodley Park.
The exceptionally decadent celebration featured a special RAMMY cocktail by SurReal Vodka. And lots more types of alcohol. Yeah, it was our kinda party.
The Restaurant Manager of the Year award went to Ryland Johnson of Zola.
