Natasha Tobin, 25, died early Tuesday morning after she was hit by a car and a bus in Gaithersburg, Md.

Tobin, 25, lived in Fort Washington, Md. She was walking on the southbound side of I-270, near Route 124, when the collision occurred, police said. It's unclear why Tobin was walking on the highway. It's illegal to do so.

No charges will be filed against the drivers of the car and bus that hit her. Alcohol and speed were not factors, police said.

There were no passengers on the bus when the collision occurred.

I-270 was shut down for several hours, but it reopened in time for Tuesday's morning rush hour.
