On Tuesday evening guests gathered at the Organization of American States building to raise money for the Lift As We Climb Foundation as well as the Davis Family Foundation. Attendees were treated to delicious food, drinks and live music.

"It's so important to lift as you climb," said honorary chair Vernon Davis, who once played football at D.C.'s Dunbar High School. Davis now plays tight end for the San Francisco 49ers.
