The Maryland Senate has voted to let the public decide whether to bring card games to Prince George's County.

A measure calling for a statewide referendum on whether to allow card games at financially troubled Rosecroft Raceway was approved 34-13 on Wednesday.

Sen. C. Anthony Muse (D-Prince George's County) and Senate President Thomas V. "Mike" Miller ( D - Calvert County) sponsored the measure.

The bill now goes to the House of Delegates.
