2 Adults, 3 Children Injured in Germantown Crash

Five people have been injured, including two adults and three children, in a serious crash in Germantown, Maryland, Friday night, fire officials said.

Montgomery County Fire and EMS spokesman Pete Piringer said two vehicles were involved in the crash at the intersection of Clopper Road and Great Seneca Highway.

One adult and two children in the crash were taken to the hospital as trauma patients, Piringer said. Two others, an adult and a child, were also taken to a hospital. Their conditions are not known at this time.

Both Maryland Route 117 and Route 119 were closed during the investigation. All lanes have reopened.
