Va. H.S. Gets Props From Katy Perry for Video

North Stafford High School borrowed Katy Perry's anthem "Roar" in a YouTube video geared to promote school spirit -- and boy, did it ever.

The pop star shared her appreciation for the video with her 43 million fans, Fredericksburg.com first reported.

The shout-out clearly thrilled students, and Perry's message was retweeted more than 1,000 times.

The students' video shows hundreds of students dancing, cheering, tossing orange and white balloons during a pep rally, and of course, roaring like tigers... OK, or wolverines, the school's mascot.
