Party Pics: The Meridian Ball

The 43rd annual Meridian Ball is widely recognized as one of D.C.'s biggest black-tie bashes. Attended by public officials including Cabinet members, Supreme Court Justices and members of Congress, as well as key members of the international business and cultural communities, the ball is preceded by intimate dinners hosted by ambassadors at their residences or embassies. After dinner, all guests re-convene at Meridian in the elegant historic houses designed by John Russell Pope for dancing, conversation and dessert.
