A winning ticket for Saturday's $487 million Powerball jackpot was sold in New Hampshire, according to lottery officials, NBC News reported.
The winning numbers were 11-17-21-23-32 and Powerball 5. The winning ticket was purchased at a Hannaford in Raymond in the southern part of the state. The odds of buying the winning ticket were 1 in 292 million.
According to the Union Leader newspaper, the ticket was purchased at a self-service vending station. New Hampshire Lottery offices don't open until Monday, so it's possible the identity of the winner won't be known until then.
Saturday's jackpot was the nation's fifth-largest lottery jackpot, and was the eighth-largest earlier when it was $478 million.
The largest jackpot in North America was $1.6 billion. Those winning tickets were sold in California, Tennessee and Florida in January of this year.
The last time there was a Powerball winner was on May 7, when a family from New Jersey won a $429.6 million jackpot.
Tickets are sold in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
