A woman is in critical condition after being rescued from the water at the Georgetown Waterfront on Saturday night.
It happened shortly before 8 p.m. on Water Street NW.
Police said the woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
It is unclear how she ended up in the water.
