A wave of severe weather rolled across Northern Virginia Saturday evening, sparking severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings in several counties. The National Weather Service issued two tornado warnings for Fauquier County around 6 and 7 p.m. as severe storms generated rain and strong gusts of wind. The town of Warrenton reported downed power lines and trees and the National Weather Service said eyewitnesses spotted a funnel cloud in Fauquier.
