Orioles Owner Suing Facebook

Argues the site violates privacy laws

One of Baltimoreโ€™s most prominent attorneys, and the owner of the Orioles, has filed a lawsuit against Facebook.

According to The Daily Record of Baltimore, Peter Angelos, along with another California-based law firm filed the suit in a San Jose District Court. They argue the social network has violated privacy laws by using online tracking technology to monitor users even when they arenโ€™t on Facebookโ€™s site.

Angelos is representing a Baltimore man and North Carolina woman in the suit. Facebook said in a statement that they believe the case is without merit.
