First Look: Observation Deck to Offer Panoramic Views of DC

An observation deck opening this summer in Arlington will offer views in every direction, and News4 got a first look.

"Rosslyn, as you can see, is D.C.'s premier skyline," Mary-Claire Burick, president of the Rosslyn Business Improvement District, said Monday.

The observation deck is 12,000 square feet and includes a cafe and an open-air terrace. Also, there's a private event space.

Daily tickets will cost $21. There will be other prices for children, students, seniors and members of the military. Admission will be free for Arlington County residents.

An exhibit called "Windows Into History" is part of the observation deck. It shows "different people and viewpoints that have influenced our nation's history, while drawing parallels to the distinct views," a statement from The Observation Deck says.
