Four D.C. neighborhoods, Anacostia Riverfront, Capitol Hill East, NoMa-Union Station and Shaw-Howard University, are in the running to house Amazon’s second headquarters.
Mayor Muriel Bowser announced Monday that D.C. will include those four areas in their proposal, which is due to Amazon this month. Amazon’s new headquarters, also known as HQ2, is expected to create 50,000 jobs and generate billions in investments.
