D.C.'s newest art exhibition opened Friday beneath the crowded streets of Dupont Circle.
As people above hustled to work, art-lovers, journalists and Dupont Underground planners convened in an abandoned trolley station to see the new -- and sold-out -- interactive art exhibit, "Raise/Raze." Lucky ticket-holders start visiting Saturday; and the exhibit runs through June 1.
Since capacity is limited, tickets were gone before the ribbon cutting ceremony began.
Dupont Underground might release more tickets. But if you can't get in, NBC Washington has a virtual tour of the exhibit right here.
