I've been looking for an excuse to write about the Nationals now that the Redskins have eclipsed all other sports coverage since last week, so here's Ian Krol going down a slide at the MLB Fan Cave in New York.
Okay, to the important stuff. You may not have noticed -- or stopped caring -- but the Nationals are just six games out of the final wild-card spot in the National League after their 6-3 victory over the Mets Tuesday, their fourth straight win and sixth in their last seven games.
There are 18 games left and the Reds aren't too far ahead. Could it happen? Who knows.
And if it doesn't, fans have all winter to watch RGIII.
