A mother accused of routinely getting her kids to school late was found guilty in a Loudoun County court this week.

Maureen Blake was found guilty on three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, WTOP reported.

She was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine for each of her three children. She was also ordered to pay $3,000 in court fees.

The charges will be waived if Blake pays her fines on time.

School officials said Blake's children were tardy 85 times since September but only actually missed about three hours of school.
