Many neighbors in northeast Washington are cleaning up a big mess from Friday’s storm.

The area was hit with a micro-burst, which featured strong winds that knocked down trees and power lines and tore roofs off several homes.

One tree punched a hole through the side of a brick house.

The worst damage reports are in Wards 4 and 5.

D.C.'s Department of Transportation said it has received more than 100 tree-related service requests since Friday evening.
