Silver Spring Restaurant Robbed

Police are searching for two people who robbed the Spring Garden Restaurant in Silver Spring early Saturday morning.

Police say that the robbery occurred shortly after 12:30 a.m., as the restaurant was being closed by an employee.

Investigators say that as the man was locking the restaurant doors, he was set upon by two men, one of whom was armed with a gun. The victim was allegedly forced to the ground amid demands that he surrender the keys to the restaurant. 

The victim complied and the suspects removed an unknown amount of cash from the business and some personal items from the victim before fleeing.

One of the suspects is described as a man wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, a white shirt, gray running shoes, and black gloves. The second suspect is described as a man wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black boots, black gloves, and a ski mask.
