Two Maryland men have been arrested in the December shooting of a 19-year-old man, Anne Arundel County Police said.
Bashunn Phillips, 20, of Gambrills, is accused of killing Shar-Ron Charles Mason, who was shot in his home Dec. 10.
Mason and Phillips knew each other and were involved in some type of altercation prior to Mason's death, police said.
As a result of that altercation, Phillips was charged and awaiting a court date. Mason was killed weeks before the case was supposed to go to trial, police said.
Phillips faces several charges, including first-degree murder and manslaughter.
His brother, Tymaine Phillips, 17, was charged as an accessory after the fact.
