Peaceful Vigil for Peshawar Attack Victims Planned Wednesday in Dupont

The Pakistani community in D.C. has planned a peaceful vigil Wednesday night in Dupont Circle.

According to the GW Pakistani Student Association, the vigil is "not a political rally," but rather a time to "honor the lives lost" in Tuesday's Taliban attack at a Pakistani school. The death toll has climbed to 145 people, mostly children.

The group plans to meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Dupont Circle fountain.
