Police are looking for the man who robbed a driver with a weapon in Prince William County.

A 48-year-old Woodbridge man was driving in the area of Telegraph Road and Morse Lane on Tuesday morning when he stopped and prepared to make a turn. Authorities say a man exited the passenger side of a car parked nearby and approached the victim.

According to police, the man initially asked the victim for directions before revealing a handgun and demanding money. The victim complied, and the robber ran back to the car parked nearby and fled the area with an undisclosed amount of money, officials said.

The victim never got out of his car and wasn't injured.

Police are looking for a black male with short black hair and brown eyes, 23 to 28 years old, and about 5 feet, 11 inches tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a light blue jacket and blue jeans. He was seen getting into an older model, light blue two-door sedan.

Authorities ask anyone with information about this case to contact Prince William Police.
