Boston Bruins goaltender Tim Thomas made headlines in January when he decided to skip the team's trip to the White House in honor of their Stanley Cup victory last season. Thomas later explained that his decision was a political statement, saying that the "government has grown out of control."
It only made sense then that White House-related questions would arise once again after the Bruins drew the Washington Capitals in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Monday, Thomas decided to plead the Fifth:

So what can Caps fans do to get under Thomas's skin? I have two suggestions:
- They can bring giant Obama head posters and spread them throughout the Verizon Center while chanting "Change" for 60 minutes.
- Obama himself can finally come to his first game and sit right behind Thomas's goal.
Don't you just love freedom of speech?
