Update: DC United Game Against Olimpia of Honduras Will Not Livestream on NBCWashington

Update: The upcoming game between D.C. United and Club Deportivo Olimpia, commonly known as Olimpia, a professional club from the top tier in Honduras, will not be livestreamed on NBCWashington.com and Telemundo44.com as previously expected.

The game will be held at Audi Field on Wednesday at 8 p.m.

D.C. United has a rich history with the Central American community in the D.C. area. Legendary player Raúl Díaz Arce of San Miguel, El Salvador, played in D.C. United's inaugural MLS season in 1996 and won MLS Cups with the team that year and in 1997.

"We are incredibly excited about matching our club's talents against some of the best in Honduras," D.C. United Managing General Partner and CEO Jason Levien said. "Olimpia is a historic team from a special country and we are honored to host them. We have a special relationship with the Central American community in the DMV and we are looking forward to strengthening those bonds at Audi Field."

Brazilian forward Luciano "Luci" "Lucigol" Emilio, who played for both teams, will be a guest of honor the night of the game.

Emilio scored 41 times in 89 appearances for D.C. United and won three titles with Olimpia in Honduras.

"There is so much emotion from me to both D.C. United and Olimpia," he said. "I love the fans of both clubs dearly and it is an honor for me to be involved in the launch and the game. My heart is always open to both D.C. United and Olimpia."

D.C. United is 8-11-7 (31 points) in MLS Eastern Conference this season, good for eighth place.
