You may have heard Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid use Bryce Harper's "That's a clown question, bro" quip during a press conference this summer, but you haven't lived until you hear Alex Trebek say it while introducing it as a category on "Jeopardy."
Okay, so I can't find audio of that, but you'll have to take my word for it. It was as condescending and Canadian as you can imagine.
Anyway, yes, Harper's catchphrase was a category on the game show this past Friday. The answers were of course clown-related, like this:
I can't wait for the day when someone has to spell it out on "Wheel Of Fortune."
Anyways, it is only fitting that during last weekend's NatsFest, Ross Detwiler, Drew Storen and Jayson Werth played a Nationals-themed game of Jeopardy. In unrelated news, Werth is really, really hairy.
