The 45-year-old “Celebrity Apprentice” star owes $50,000 in back taxes for 2009, but she’s got a plan to make the government whole, People reported.
"I'm paying it back. I'm not shying away from it and I'm certainly not ashamed of it," Matlin told the mag. "It doesn't mean I'm a bad person. It's reality. It's the reality that a lot of people in America are facing.”

Matlin, who has raked in big bucks for charity on this season’s “Apprentice,” said she’s put her home on the market and plans send the kids to public school.
Perhaps, the Donald -- or John Rich -- could throw some change to the taxman on her behalf?
