Several students at a Maryland middle school were taken to a hospital after drinking something that made them feel sick Friday morning, officials said.
Montgomery County Police responded to a 911 call that about 10 children at Francis Scott Key Middle School in Silver Spring consumed alcohol and/or NyQuil, police said.
The students went to school not feeling well after drinking “liquid something,” according to Montgomery County Public Schools. The students went to the nurse, who called 911. Some students were taken to the hospital, and some teachers went with them for support.
MCPS did not confirm what the students were drinking due to the investigation.
