Tucker's Restaurant Arson Suspect Shown on Video

Investigators are searching for a man caught on video inside Tucker's Bar and Lounge just before it was consumed in flames.

The Prince George's County Office of the Fire Marshal released video Wednesday showing a man wearing a hood slowly walking toward and then inside the Upper Marlboro restaurant that burst into flames early the morning of Wednesday, June 17.

The video shows the man inside the restaurant about 2 a.m. Hundreds of firefighters rushed to the popular Marlboro Pike restaurant about 3:30 a.m.

"Right now we're in shock. We're still recovering from all this," the owner's niece told News4.

The blaze caused more than $2 million in damage, according to the fire marshal, and left about 20 employees without jobs.

One firefighter suffered minor burns while fighting the flames, which took more than six hours to extinguish.

Officials said Saturday that the fire is being investigated as an arson.
