A former member of the Washington Redskins famous offensive line – the Hogs – was arrested Monday night in D.C.
George Starke is charged with simple assault in a domestic violence incident, according to a police report.
Starke was staying at the W Hotel and got into an argument with a woman that turned physical, according to the police report. She claims he hit her in the face.
She ran to a bathroom and called 911.
Starke played for the Redskins from 1972 through 1984, helping the team go to three Super Bowls and win Super Bowl XVII.
