A construction worker at Fort Meade died after being hit by a dump truck Friday, Fort Meade officials report.
According to Fort Meade officials, emergency services personnel responded after the worker was struck.
Fort Meade has not released the worker’s name.
"The Fort Meade community’s thoughts and prayers are with those affected by this loss of life, and we send our heartfelt condolences," said Fort Meade Garrison Commander Col. Tom S. Rickard.
