Police have identified a body found in a Manassas retention pond as a 23-year-old woman who went missing in February from a local hotel.
Rose DiToro, of Annandale, was last seen about 3:51 a.m. walking down the back staircase of a Comfort Suites hotel, News 4’s Pat Collins previously reported.
On Wednesday, police said her death does not appear to be random and they do not suspect foul play at this time.
The cause of death has not been determined, police said.
Prince William County Police issued a warning on February 4, saying that DiToro was missing and endangered.
DiToro’s sister pleaded for her safe return.
“No matter what you’re feeling, you’re loved. You always have been and you always will be,” she said.
