Body Found in Manassas Pond Identified as Missing 23-Year-Old Woman

Police have identified a body found in a Manassas retention pond as a 23-year-old woman who went missing in February from a local hotel.

Rose DiToro, of Annandale, was last seen about 3:51 a.m. walking down the back staircase of a Comfort Suites hotel, News 4’s Pat Collins previously reported.

On Wednesday, police said her death does not appear to be random and they do not suspect foul play at this time.

The cause of death has not been determined, police said.

Prince William County Police issued a warning on February 4, saying that DiToro was missing and endangered.

DiToro’s sister pleaded for her safe return.

“No matter what you’re feeling, you’re loved. You always have been and you always will be,” she said.

DiToro suffered from bipolar disorder and had a history of drug abuse. Her boyfriend checked her into the hotel after she suffered a bipolar episode.

Her body was recovered on March 29 from a pond in the 7300 block of Williamson Blvd in Manassas.
