A man sexually assaulted a woman in a Foggy Bottom apartment building, D.C. police said.
The man tried to take the woman's clothing off in a building in the 2400 block of I Street NW before 11 p.m. Sunday.
Surveillance video shows a man in the lobby follow quickly behind a woman. He is considered a person of interest in the case.
Police are not ruling out the possibility the assault is related to recent sex crimes near Dupont Circle.
The person of interest is a white man about 25-35 years old and about 5-feet-10-inches tall with brown hair.
