The Hole Story in Maryland

Two days of rain took a toll on roads across the Washington area.

In Anne Arundel County, wet weather likely played a role in the creation of a large sinkhole in Severn, Md. A 48-inch storm drain collapsed Friday morning, taking a chunk of Gambrills Road right along with it.

It's one of at least three sinkholes reported across the state.

Repairs are expected to take days.
