Teen Killed Mother, Siblings, Before Turning Gun on Self Police Say

The family was found Tuesday night

Albemarle County police say a teenager killed his mother and two younger siblings before committing suicide.

Police found the family Tuesday night at their home on Stony Point Road after responding to a 911 call. Three were dead and the fourth later died at a local hospital.

The Albemarle County Police Department tells media outlets that police believe 19-year-old Noah Philip Romando was responsible for the deaths of his mother, 49-year-old Elizabeth Walton, sister Lily Katherine Romando and brother Andrew Ross Romando.

Police say Lily and Andrew were juveniles but have not released their ages.

Police haven't released any details except to say that a firearm was involved.

The investigation is continuing.
