A 14-year-old boy could be charged as an adult for beating his grandmother with a hammer in Baltimore.
Police spokeswoman Detective Nicole Monroe told the Baltimore Sun the boy called 911 after the assault Thursday morning.
Emergency crews rushed the 66-year-old woman to the hospital, where she is listed in critical condition.
The boy told detectives he hit his grandmother multiple times after he got angry while getting ready for school.
