Amtrak and commuter train service has been halted between Washington and Baltimore after police say a man was struck and killed by a train.
Prince George's County police say the man was fatally struck around 2:40 p.m. Friday in Capitol Heights, just over the District of Columbia line. The circumstances of the incident remain under investigation.

The man was hit by a MARC Penn Line train bound for Baltimore.
