BOY SAVES BROTHER FROM KIDNAPPING
A 9-year-old Bristow boy thwarted a kidnapping attempt Monday and saved his 5-year-old brother from a man who grabbed the younger boy from behind, said.  Prince William spokeswoman Erika Hernandez. The brothers were running home from a friend’s house in the area of Noltland Drive near Lennice Way when a man with a small silver hoop earring on his right ear grabbed the 5-year-old about 5:30 p.m., Hernandez said. GOLD MEDAL FOR BETHESDA BREW
Before he even thought about grabbing the malt, Geoff Lively whet his palate. A lot. Lively, head brewer at Bethesda's Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery, recently grabbed gold in the Scottish-style ale category from the 2010 World Beer Cup — known in beer circles as the "Olympics of Beer" — held April 10 in Chicago by the Brewers Association. SCHOOL UNIFORMS PROPOSED FOR ANNAPOLIS HIGH
