Labor Day Sublime

Blue skies and plentiful sunshine will close out a wonderful holiday weekend for the District today. Elsewhere along the East Coast, Labor Day is looking much the same: low humidity, few clouds and friendly temperatures.

Out in the Atlantic Ocean, though, the tropical storm formerly known as Gaston seems to be redeveloping. And in southeast Mexico, Tropical Storm Hermine is gathering. That storm is likely to stay a tropical storm and may mess with Texas, traveling up north near Brownsville and bringing the threat of flooding to the valley.

All is clear for the District, though, where the high will fall in the 80s and the evening will bring weather in the 70s.
