A Frederick, Maryland, man has been indicted after police say he demanded sexual favors from a woman in return for watching her dog.
The victim told police that she asked 23-year-old Edward Lewis Thompson to watch her dog while she went into a business on June 11. When she returned, Thompson allegedly demanded she perform sexual favors in return for his service. Police say Thompson followed the woman into an alley, grabbed her and demanded sexual favors again.
The victim’s dog scared Thompson away, according to police. The victim fled the scene and contacted police.
Thompson was charged with attempted second-degree sex offense and second-degree assault.
