A lone man robbed a bank in Bethesda on Tuesday morning, Montgomery County Police said.
Authorities responded to Colombo Bank at 9:30 a.m. A man entered the bank, announced a robbery, and then fled on foot police said. They did not disclose how much money was taken.
Investigators are searching the Capital Crescent Trail, a running and walking area directly behind the bank. No injuries were reported in the incident.
Colombo Bank is down the street from the site of last week's Lululemon murder.
