DC AG Takes Apartment in Chinatown

WASHINGTON -- D.C. Attorney General Peter Nickles is now a D.C. resident.

Nickles has an apartment on Seventh Street in Chinatown, WTOP reported. He also got his D.C. driver's license and registered to vote in D.C. earlier in the month.

By law, Nickles, who had been living in Great Falls, was required to take up residence in the city after becoming attorney general. He refused to disclose where in the city he was living until Public Citizen, Ralph Nader's non-profit, filed a Freedom of Information Act, WTOP reported.

Nickles explained he tried to keep the address private for safety reasons.

It's unknown if his wife moved with him, WTOP reported.
