    Metropolitan Police Department investigators responded to a report of an armed carjacking on the 1100 block of First Street SE.

    On Saturday morning, an armed suspect approached a driver and brandished a silver handgun. The carjacker then stole the victim's vehicle, a dark grey 2006 Honda Accord bearing Maryland tags 3ESG02.

    The victim told police that the carjacker was a 25- to 30-year-old black man wearing gray pants and a white t-shirt. The suspect weighs about 165 lbs. and sports short hair and a goatee. He was last seen in the vicinity of First and M Street SE.
