A teenager was killed in a crash in Maryland Sunday evening.
Justin Dorsey, 17, was flown to Washington Hospital Center in critical condition and later died. Five other people are in area hospitals after the two-car crash at Seneca and River roads in Darnestown, Md., just before 6 p.m. Sunday.
Police said Dorsey was inside a Toyota Echo with four other teens when it crossed the median and struck a Mercedes.
The driver of the Echo, 17-year-old Ryan Sparks, of Gaithersburg, was taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Mercedes, 31-year-old Daniel Schwartz of Burke, Va., was taken to Shady Grove Adventist Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Montgomery County Police said they don't know what caused the crash.
