3 Dead in College Park Crash

A fatal crash early Saturday morning in College Park, Md. has left three people dead and three others injured.

The accident happened just before 3 a.m. Saturday, according to Prince George's County Police.

The fatal wreck was caused when an SUV traveling at high-speed rear-ended another vehicle eastbound on Rte 50 at Rte. 410 (John Hanson Highway and Ardwick Ardmore Rd.), said police.

At least one passenger was ejected from the car that was hit. That person and two others were later pronounced dead at Prince Georges County Hospital, according to P.G. County Police.

Three other people were taken to local hospitals where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

No names or ages have been released about the victims except that all the people involved were adults.
