12-Year-Old Girl Missing in Loudoun County Found Safe, Police Say

UPDATE: Calla Lombard was found safe near the area of Postrail Square about 5:30 p.m., police said.

A 12-year-old girl from Ashburn, Virginia, has gone missing and police are asking for the public's help to find her.

Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said Calla Lombard was last seen at her home in the area of Postrail Square about 8 a.m. Thursday. She reportedly never arrived at her bus stop or at her school.

Calla is described as a white female with dark hair. She is 5 feet tall and weighs about 100 pounds, police said.

She was last seen wearing a black fleece jacket with animal print on the trim, blue jeans and white sneakers. Police said she was also carrying a purple, white and black backpack.
