Father of Pilot Captured By ISIS Pleads for Release

The father of the Jordanian pilot captured by the Islamic State when his warplane went down in Syria pleaded for his son's release on Thursday. Safi Yousef al-Kaseasbeh cited his son's common faith with his captors, saying in his appeal, "We are all Muslims." Little is known about the condition of Mu'ath al-Kaseasbeh since ISIS gunmen dragged him away following his plane crash. The pilot is the first known military member to be captured since coalition air strikes began against ISIS in September.
