Honoree Bernice King reflected on her father, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., during her acceptance speech saying, "I was one of the four little children my dad talked about during his infamous speech."

Dan Rather was honored for his longstanding contributions to journalism.
Charles "Roc" Dutton gave an inspiring and heart-warming keynote address where he talked about being once incarcerated but was giving a second chance through acting. "If I didn't follow through with acting all the way to the end, I would been in and out of prison for the rest of my life," Dutton said.
