DANVILLE, Va. (AP) — Authorities in Virginia are investigating after the body of an infant was found in a bag in a Danville home.
The Danville Register & Bee (http://bit.ly/21obdYU ) reports that a Danville Circuit Court affidavit for a search warrant states that police responded to a home where “a dead infant in a bag” was discovered Sunday. The warrant states that a man opened the bag and found the “deceased infant that had been dead for some time.”
Danville police are investigating the nature of the death.
