Maryland Man Headed to Prison in Pennsylvania Bar Slaying

YORK, Pa. (AP) — A Maryland man is heading to prison after admitting under a plea deal that he fatally pushed another man from behind at a central Pennsylvania bar, causing him to fall and hit his head on an ATM.

Court records show Rudolph Bandjough pleaded guilty on Tuesday to involuntary manslaughter in the January death of 61-year-old Thomas “Tug” Reinoehl, of Springettsbury Township, Pennsylvania.

Authorities say Reinoehl died of traumatic injuries to his head and neck following his fall at Barracuda’s Seafood Pub in York, Pennsylvania.

Charging documents say Reinoehl had either talked with Bandjough’s fiancee or was standing near her.

The 32-year-old Baltimore County, Maryland man has been sentenced to about a year to two years in prison. Bandjough must serve three years of probation and pay about $57,000 in restitution.
