Man Gets 48 Years in Prison for Seafood Restaurant Stabbing

BALTIMORE (AP) โ€” Authorities say a man convicted of stabbing four people during a fight at a Baltimore seafood restaurant has been sentenced to 48 years in prison.

The Baltimore City Stateโ€™s Attorneyโ€™s Office said Kevin Tusing was sentenced after being found guilty of first-and-second-degree assault, three counts of reckless endangerment, and three counts of use of a deadly weapon.

Officials say Tusing sexually assaulted a woman at Jimmyโ€™s Seafood in October and became aggressive after he was confronted by employees and other witnesses. Authorities say he used a knife to cut and stab several people who tried to stop him from leaving the restaurant.

Tusing was released on parole three months before the Jimmyโ€™s Seafood stabbing. He pleaded guilty in 2005 to another stabbing and a manslaughter charge in a shooting.
