DC's Top 10 Halloween Costumes for 2011
We talked to some local Halloween stores to discover what locals are most likely to be wearing this Oct. 31. One thing we learned? Simplicity is on the rise, as more Washingtonians are opting for “pretty face masks,” instead of traditionally over-the-top costumes. “I personally think it has to do with the economy, since they’re less expensive,” said Sandra Duraes, one of the managers at BackStage, Inc. (545 8th St. S.E.).
